Kronan No. 2 is a local lodge of the Vasa Order of America, located in Danbury, CT. Kronan Lodge No. 2 was first organized as the Kronan Scandinavian Sick Benefit Society, on December 4, 1882 in Danbury, CT. Two delegates were sent to the meeting held at New Haven, CT, September 18, 1896, at which time the Vasa Order of America was organized. Kronan Lodge retained its name and was designated as No. 2, with Norden of Hartford, No.1. These two lodges were the nucleus of the order of Vasa we have today
